1. Choose your cloth
Start with the fabric.
Browse the collection and see each cloth folded, laid flat and made into a finished shirt.
It gives you a clearer idea of the colour, pattern and character of the cloth before you begin designing.
2. Make it yours
Choose the details that shape the shirt.
Collar. Cuff. Front. Pocket. Back. Buttons. Stitching. Monogram.
Keep it quiet and familiar, or make it more distinctive.
There is no fixed SHIRTMKR style to follow.
3. Let us get your fit right
Every Design Your Own shirt is cut to your own pattern, and there is no pattern or setup fee.
We will guide you through the measurements we need, step by step, and check anything that looks unusual before your shirt is cut.
If you would rather not measure yourself, measure a shirt you already enjoy wearing, or send us one and we will measure it for you.
Once you have a pattern with us, use it again, amend it, or create another. All included.

4. Review everything
Before you order, you will see the complete shirt specification together in one place.
Check the cloth, design, sizing route and price.
Nothing moves into production until you are happy with what you have selected.
5. We make your shirt
Once your order is confirmed, your design and pattern details are recorded and sent through to production.
Every shirt is made to order.
It is our aim to deliver within four weeks. Where this is not possible, SHIRTMKR will contact you at the earliest opportunity with an updated expected delivery date.
UK delivery is £4.95, and free once the amount you actually pay for merchandise reaches £125 or more.

6. We remember what works
Once you have a pattern that works for you, it stays in your SHIRTMKR account.
Use it again.
Refine it.
Change the cloth.
Change the design.
Or order the same shirt again.
If something needs to change after one shirt, we learn from it for the next.
The aim is not simply to make one good shirt. It is to understand how you like your shirts made.
